four winds

                        Trichocereus Bridgesii 'four winds'

Came to us all the way from Israel this year in a trade. Four ribbed Trichocereus cactus are not too common, so I was keen to get this into our collection.
According to legend, four ribbers were always the most prized because of their higher active alkaloid content.
True or not, this is an interesting specimen and i look forward to getting some cuttings from it to spread around the world.
